Terence Parkin, Olympic Swimming Medalist, Will Race in the Deaf Cycling World Championships

Reuters is reporting that Olympic Swimming Medalist Terence Parkin of South Africa, who was born deaf, has made the South African Deaf Cycling team for the 2006 Deaf Cycling World Championships. They did not know he was even in training until he showed up at the cycling trials and made the team. Good luck, Terence!
