Stanford Floats on Top of Competition at the 2007 Synchronized Swimming U.S. National Championships

The 2007 Synchronized Swimming U.S. National Championships continued today at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis. The event runs through April 28 and features elite athletes vying for national titles in the solo, duet and team events in the nation's most prestigious synchronized swimming competition. Scores from today's tech routines are combined with the preliminary free routine scores to determine the finalists for each event. Finals will take place on Saturday. Stanford enters finals in the top spot the solo, duet and team events. The Cardinal boasts 2004 Olympians Sara Lowe (United States) and Courtenay Stewart (Canada), who will look to defend their 2006 U.S. National title in the duet. Lowe is also in the top position entering finals in the solo.
