Michael Phelps, Natalie Coughlin And Hoff To Highlight First Session Of Finals at the 2008 Columbia Grand Prix

The 2008 Columbia Grand Prix kicked off Friday night at the Mizzou Aquatic Center with a pool record set in the women's 400 freestyle. The first session of finals will take place Saturday 16 Feb 2008 at 9 a.m. (CST).

As the first long course meet of the 2007-2008 Toyota Grand Prix series, Olympian Katie Hoff proved to be in top form by coming within a half second of Janet Evans' American record in the 400 freestyle. Kate Ziegler, who holds the U.S. Open record in the event, will square off with Hoff tomorrow morning in the final.
