A study of 34 women that have fibromyalgia correlated measures of quality of life with aquatic exercise. The study reports that water exercise in a did help decrease pain and had a positive influence on several other quality of life markers. The study had one group of women exercise 60-minutes a day, three times a week for 12 weeks, while a second group only did their normal day-to-day activities. Measures of a variety of quality of life variables was done at the start of the study, and the end of the study, and 3 months after the end of the study.
