Mat's Swimming Blog2008 Telstra Australian Swimming Championship and Olympic Selection Meet - Live Results - One Day, Two World Records The best Australian swimmers are in the pool for the 2009 Australian National Championships. Follow the action via live swim meet results on-line. The meet website has more information. So far, two world records. Stephanie Rice set a record of 4:31.46 in the 400 IM (bettering the mark of Katie Hoff by over 1-second). Emily Seebohm broke the 50 backstroke world record with a 27.95. Grant Hackett had a great 400 free, 3:43.15, to make his 3rd Australian Olympic team.
