Olympic Breaststroker Eric Shanteau Battling Testicular Cancer

Friday July 11, 2008
The AP has reported that Eric Shanteau, a member of the USA Swimming Team headed to the 2008 Beijing Olympics in the 200m Breaststroke, has a bigger challenge ahead than racing in the swimming pool. He has to battle cancer. The report states he is delaying surgery until after the 2008 Olympics, but will change that plan if the cancer worsens. Good Luck, Eric.
