USA Swimming's Eva Fabian won the 2010 Women's 5K Open Water World Swimming Championship title in Roberval, Quebec, pacing the field with a time of 1 hour, 2 minutes and .98 seconds. On the men's side, Fran Crippen took home the bronze medal in the 2010 Men's 5K Open Water World Swimming Championship with a time of 57:46.48.
