The USA swimmers lead the medal count at the 2012 Olympic Games with 11 Gold, 7 Silver, and 5 Bronze. China and Japan both have 9 medals. If the Olympics were scored with 5 points for a gold, 3 for a silver, and 1 for a bronze, with relays counting double points, the USA would be in first place with 95 points, France second with 31 points, and in a tie for third with 30 points, China and Australia.
