Fit Swimming Goggles

By Mat Luebbers, About.com Guide

Avoid sore eyes - make sure the goggles you are about to buy fit with this simple test.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes

Here's How:

  1. Hold the goggles on your eyes.
  2. Press the eye cups into your eye sockets.
  3. Let go - they should stay in place.
  4. If they don't, they are not a good fit.
  5. Try another style!

Tips:

  1. What shape is your eye socket?
  2. The goggle shape should match for a good fit.
  3. You can make adjustments to the spread of the eyepiece, but if the goggles don't hold without the strap, at least for a few seconds, don't buy them.
