Body Position - You do not use much "body roll" using the Vasa.
Size and Mobility - The Vasa takes a bit of room to set-up and use - and time to take down and put away.
Durability - The harsh aquatic environment can take its toll on the Vasa,

| Product Description |
 |
| |
Lying on a padded, rolling swim bench, and pulling on paddles attached to the front of the machine, the athlete "swims" by pulling his/her body up an inclined monorail.
|
| |
This patented Vasa pulling motion exactly simulates the fundamental swimming concept of "pulling the body past the hands".
|
| |
Vasa's unique design also allows the swimmer to see and duplicate correct stroke mechanics on the machine, while at the same time, build a powerful swim stroke.

| Guide Review |

Add a Vasa to your training!
The Vasa Trainer is a great addition to a team's or individual swimmer's exercise room. It provides strength, power, force, and endurance workout capabilities in actions specific or very close to swimming, including the speed of movement - another important element of specificity of exercise.
A foot platform is available to make the Vasa into a lower-body training
tool. While it takes set-up time and enough space to use, the effort is worth the pay-off from the
many exercises available on this great machine. I highly recommend the Vasa Trainer.
