12/23/2000 - The Year's Best
Swimmers
The year 2000 brought a few new stars in 50 meter pools. It also shined up
some the old ones and saw a few begin to lose their flash. The year's biggest
event, the Sydney Olympics, was a showplace for the world's best, but was not

Stronger Outside of the Pool

swim so fast in the last year and at the 2000 Olympics? While some may say it
could be due to performance enhancing substances, I prefer to think a lot of
it is from improved technique.
