2008 Olympic Synchronized Swimming Competing Nations Announced

8 In The Team Synchro Competition and 24 In The Duet Synchro Competition

The final list of the eight teams and 24 duets qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games is now known after the Qualification Tournament held in Beijing from April 16-20, 2008. In the team event, the competition selected three nations, with the remaining five nations that will be at the 2008 Games previously selected through continental competitions. In the duet, the qualification tournament allowed 15 nations to get their Olympic ‘ticket’, with nine countries previously determined, for a total of 24 duets at the Games.
