USA's 2007 FINA World Championships Diving Team Announced

Fourteen divers have been selected to represent the United States at the 2007 FINA World Championships. Among the divers selected to the team are two-time Olympians Laura Wilkinson (Spring, Texas) and Troy Dumais (Austin, Texas). At the 2005 World Championships in Montreal, Wilkinson won the gold medal in women’s 10-meter, while Dumais took silver on men’s 3-meter and bronze on men’s synchronized 3-meter. The 2007 World Championships are scheduled for March 18-April 1 in Melbourne, Australia. The diving portion of the event will take place March 19-26.

Seven other divers who competed at the 2005 World Championships have been named to the 2007 roster. They are: David Boudia (Noblesville, Ind.), Kelci Bryant (Chatham, Ill.), Chris Colwill (Brandon, Fla.), Thomas Finchum (Indianapolis), Nancilea (Underwood) Foster (Spring, Texas), Christina Loukas (Riverwoods, Ill.) and Jevon Tarantino (Boca Raton, Fla.). Rounding out the 2007 roster are Allison Brennan (Huntington Beach, Calif.), Mary Beth Dunnichay (Elwood, Ind.), Haley Ishimatsu (Seal Beach, Calif.), Mitch Richeson (Greenwood, Ind.), and Ariel Rittenhouse (Santa Cruz, Calif.).
