My tests of the iDive 300 in a swimming pool were successful - it kept the water out and allowed full control of the iPod while submerged. However, the unit is too big and heavy for lap swimming(but that is not its target market).

I tested the nano iN3 model and it worked very well, no water touched the iPod, I enjoyed some of my own tunes while swimming laps, and some other swimmers borrowed it and liked it, too. I think the shuffle-model waterproof case will be even better for fast lap swimming, but the nano-model was good for casual laps and playing around in the pool.
