iDive 300 from h2o audio - iPod Deep Dive Waterproof Case and Speakers
My tests of the iDive 300 in a swimming pool were successful - it kept the water out and allowed full control of the iPod while submerged. However, the unit is too big and heavy for lap swimming(but that is not its target market).

iPod Waterproof Case from h2oaudio
h2oaudio has updates to their waterproof iPod cases, including models to fit the nano and shuffle. I tested the nano iN3 model and it worked very well, no water touched the iPod, I enjoyed some of my own tunes while swimming laps, and some other swimmers borrowed it and liked it, too. I think the shuffle-model waterproof case will be even better for fast lap swimming, but the nano-model was good for casual laps and playing around in the pool.

I used the h2oaudio SV iMini waterproof case with my friend's Apple iPod Mini MP3 player while jogging, swimming, and splashing around in the swimming pool. No water got to the iPod - thank you h2oaudio!
