Definition: a finish that is on land, requiring the swimmers to exit from the water and run up a sandy beach to a finish line. (noun) Antonyms: in-the-water finish and FINA finish.
Also Known As: run-out finish
Examples: The rough water swim has a picturesque beach finish on the sands of Waikiki.
