After the last day's morning preliminary events, Auburn, on paper, had about a 40-point advantage over Arizona on paper, more than enough to move back into first place and claim the NCAA title. Move up they did!

- The 1,650 free was won by Sebastien Roualt (14:29.43) from Georgia, with Peter Vanderkaay (14:33.76) from Michigan in 2nd and Larsen Jensen (14:44.89) in 3rd.
- The 200 back featured the meet powerhouse swimmer, Ryan Lochte (1:37.68 - NCAA, American, US Open record) from Florida outdoing the rest of the field. Hongzhe Sun (1:40.25) of Stanford and Nick Thomas (1:42.20) from Arizona filled the other top spots.
- Texas' Garrett Weber-Gale (42.11) was the man in the 100 free. Ben Wildman-Tobriner (42.17) from Stanford claimed 2nd and Simon Burnett (42.54) from Arizona was 3rd.
- Henrique Barbosa (1:53.97) from Cal. Berkeley was first in the 200 breast, with Alabama's Vlad Polyakov (1:54.08) in 2nd and Stanford's Paul Kornfeld (1:54.41)in 3rd.
- The 200 fly champion was Davis Tarwater (1:41.84) of Michigan. Gil Stovall (1:42.10) of Georgia came in 2nd and Viktor Bodrogi (1:43.10) of Southern Cal. was 3rd.
- Coming through for Auburn was platform diving champion Steven Segerlin (469.30 - he was 3rd on the 1 and 3-meter boards). Chris Colwill (443.95 - the 1 and 3-meter board champion) from Georgia came in 2nd, and Purdue's Steve Lobue (349.60) came in 3rd.
- The final event of the meet, the 400 free relay, was won by Arizona (2:48.39), with Auburn (2:48.89) 2nd and Texas (2:51.56) 3rd.
