"Australians love Aquatic Sports and FINA has excellent memories from great competitions in this country - two FINA World Championships in 1991 and 1998 in Perth and the Olympic Games in 2000 in Sydney. I am sure that the FINA Family will experience such emotions during the 2007 FINA World Championships in Melbourne," considers FINA President Mustapha Larfaoui.
"The Organising Committee has done a great job so far, and the competition venues are excellent. The athletes from our 192 National Member Federations will have optimal conditions to deliver unforgettable performances," adds Mr. Larfaoui.
