2007 FINA World Championships Swimming Races Broadcast Schedule

Races From Melbourne Will Be Available On Fox Sports Net and WCSN.com

USA Swimming is teaming with the World Championship Sports Network (WCSN) to provide television coverage on Fox Sports Net and live web coverage on WCSN.com of the action from the 12th FINA Aquatics World Championships, March 17-April 1 in Melbourne, Australia. The 2007 World Championships is considered the top international swimming competition in the world outside of the Olympic Games, and this meet will be the best indicator of the stars to watch in 2008. The open water athletes will kick off the event, competing March 18-25 at St. Kilda’s beach just outside of Melbourne. The pool swimming events, which are March 25-April 1, will be contested in a temporary pool at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne Park.

TELEVISION COVERAGE

Television coverage of the FINA World Championships from Melbourne, Australia, will begin March 25 and run through April 1 on Fox Sports Net (FSN). Fox Sports Net coverage is expected to reach more than 70 million households and be distributed on all Fox Sports Net regional channels. A daily one or two-hour highlight show produced and edited by WCSN will be shown at 4 p.m. local time with reairs. Please check local listings in your area. Pool swimming events will be available live and on-demand at WCSN.com/swimming starting March 25. Full coverage of evening sessions will be broadcast live beginning at 4:50 a.m. EST, with the entire session available on-demand later in the day, as well as a one-hour highlight show recapping all the day’s action.
