Young Woman and the Sea - How Trudy Ederle Conquered the English Channel
Young Woman & the Sea, by Glen Stout, was hard to get started. I was not caught up by the first few pages of the book, but as I kept reading, it drew me in to the world of a young swimmer and how she went from a non-swimmer to the greatest swimmers of her time - Gertrude Ederle, first woman to swim across the English Channel. I enjoyed reading this book, and most swimmers will, too.
