Guide Review - Sable Swim Goggles
The main point of these goggles is their clarity, and they far exceed anything I have ever used. I can't say it enough, these goggles made the swimming pool come alive! I tried a clear style and a mirrored style. Both had the same fantastic clarity.
The goggles come with 3 different nose pieces. Once you find the one that fits you, you don't have to fiddle with that part again. You probably won't be loaning them to others unless they have the same size nose as you, as changing the nose piece is not a 5-second task. It is not hard to do, but you want to do it out of the pool and with dry hands.
The silicone gaskets were leak-free and comfortable, but I am an old-fashioned foam gasket guy. I had others try them and the reports were all positive, the gaskets worked great and were comfortable.
Strap adjustment was easy, and once done they did not come loose. Nothing is a bigger pain than to have to re-adjust your goggle strap every day. The system used by Sable did not come loose over the course of a week of swimming.
Sable WaterOptics Swim Goggles come in recreational (RS922) and competition (RS101) styles. All styles can be ordered with prescription lenses.
