Adrian, who won the men's 50m free on Saturday, had another dominant performance in the 100m free, taking the lead after the first 50 meters. Adrian finished in 48.83. Israel's Nimrod Shapira Bar-Or was second in 49.40 and Brazil's Nicolas Oliveira placed third with a time of 50.29.
Smit, a 2008 Olympian and NCAA Champion, won the 200m IM in 2:12.82. Pan American Games gold medalist Caitlin Leverenz (Tucson, Ariz.) used a strong breaststroke leg to secure her second-place spot in 2:13.64.Canada's Julia Wilkinson was third in 2:14.80.
The men's 100m back featured an extremely close race between a strong field of swimmers, including Olympians Lochte and Matt Grevers (Lake Forest, Ill.). David Plummer (Minnetonka, Minn.) had a strong second lap to edge out Grevers and Lochte for the win with a time of 55.25. Grevers was second in 55.40 and Lochte was third in 55.44.
Australia's Yolane Kukla and Marieke Guehrer placed first and second, respectively, in the women's 50m free. Kukla, who is 14 years old, won in 25.13. Guehrer was second in 25.31 and 15-year-old Lia Neal of Asphalt Green Aquatics finished third in 25.51.
The women's 200m fly saw an extremely close race between Dagny Knuston (Minot, N.D.) and Jasmine Tosky (Palo Alto, Calif.). Knutson held on for the win in 2:11.33. Tosky was a close second in 2:11.41 and Olympian Kathleen Hersey (Atlanta, Ga.) was third in 2:12.09.
Henrique Barbosa of Brazil picked up the win in the men's 200m breast with a time of 2:15.88. Scott Dickens of Canada finished second in 2:16.65 and 2009 World Championships teamer Adam Klein (New Orleans, La.) was third in 2:16.69.
In other races, Canada's Alexa Komarnycky won the 800m free with a time of 8:38.31. Kelsey Ditto (Austin, Texas) placed second in 8:38.71. Charetzeni Escobar Torres of Mexico finished third in 8:44.25. In the men's 1500m free, Australia's Robert Hurley won with a time of 15:36.07. Mexico's Daniel Delgadillo Faisal was second in 15:41.75 and David Mosko (Cincinnati, Ohio) was third in 15:42.54. Brian Johns of Canada won the men's 200m IM with a time of 2:02.06. Conor Dwyer of the University of Florida was second in 2:03.04 and William Cregar of the Athens Bulldog Swim Team was third in 2:05.29. In the women's 200m back, Beisel added to her medal haul in Santa Clara, winning the event in 2:10.80. Madison White of Crow Canyon Aquatics was second in 2:11.94 and Hilary Caldwell of Canada was third in 2:14.83.
The top medal-winner at the conclusion of the 2010 Grand Prix Swim Meet Series will be awarded $20,000, courtesy of USA Swimming. Swimmers are awarded five points for a gold medal, three points for a silver medal and one point for a bronze medal.
