Phelps took home his second and final medal of the meet in the men's 200m IM. He finished with a time of 1:53.93, just two seconds behind the gold medalist, Darian Townsend of South Africa.
Marshall won his second gold medal of the meet in the men's 50m back. He broke his own world record with a time of 23.73, just two one-hundredths off his old record. Adam Mania (Hickman, Neb.) earned the bronze medal in the same event, turning in a time of 23.02. Hardy, who broke the 50m breast world record in this morning's in 28.96, became the first woman to swim the event in under 29 seconds. She followed her world record prelim swim with a win in the finals, taking home the gold in 29.29.
The Youth World Cup Team was led tonight by Lauren Driscoll (Cooper City, Fla.). Driscoll finished fourth in the 400m free, just outside of medal contention, with a time of 4:05.03. She was joined in the final by Chelsea Chenault (Walnut Creek, Calif.), who finished seventh in 4:10.18, and Samantha Shellem (La Verne, Calif.), who was eighth in 4:10.69. The men's 1500m free final also featured three Youth Team members - William Freeman (Atlanta, Ga.), Arthur Frayler (Ambler, Pa.), and Andrew Cosgarea (Owings Mills, Md.). Freeman finished sixth in 14:53.61, Frayler was seventh in 14:53.64, and Cosgarea was ninth in 15:16.03.
On the women's side, Rachel Bootsma (Eden Prairie, Minn.) had a strong swim in the women's 100m back, finishing the race in 58.26 for sixth place. Jasmine Tosky (Palo Alto, Calif.), who competed in the 400m IM final, finished eighth with a time of 4:38.56.
