Hardy led after the first 50 meters in the 100m breast, however, Australia's Leisel Jones took the lead in the final 25 meters to win the gold in a world-record time of 1:03.00. Hardy also finished under the previous world record to claim the silver in 1:03.30.
Marshall picked up his silver medal in the men's 100m back. The World Cup record holder finished second in 49.65 behind Spain's Aschwin Wildeboer.
Myers won the silver in the women's 200m IM with a time of 2:07.61. She was joined in the final by American's Julie Stupp (St. Louis, Mo.) and Melissa Franklin (Centennial, Colo.). Franklin, who is a member of the Youth World Cup Team, was in the lead at the halfway point, however, she finished the race sixth with a time of 2:08.62. Stupp was fifth in 2:08.45. Franklin and Myers also competed in the 200m back final. Franklin placed seventh in 2:05.81 and Myers was eighth in 2:07.37.
Hardy's second final of the night was in the women's 50m free alongside fellow American Lara Jackson (El Paso, Texas). Jackson finished fifth in 23.93 and Hardy was seventh in 24.0.
In the women's 800m free, Samantha Shellem (La Verne, Calif.) placed eighth in 8:29.14. Madeline Dirado (Santa Rosa, Calif.) was ninth with a time of 8:34.26 and Megan Rankin (Irvine, Calif.) finished tenth in 8:35.14. On the men's side, Connor Signorin (East Windsor, N.J.) finished seventh in the men's 400m IM with a time of 4:14.07. The FINA World Cup event in Berlin, Germany will conclude Sunday, November 15.
