In one of her signature events, Komisarz scored Team USAs first medal of the day in the 100m butterfly. She hit the wall in 58.11 to earn the silver medal. Christine Magnuson also swam the event, finishing fourth in a time of 58.56.
Soni captured her second silver medal of the meet when she clocked in at 2:23.36 in the 200m breaststroke. Abigail McGregor also represented the U.S. in the event with an eighth place finish. Her time was 2:30.65. Other American swimmers competing in finals Thursday included:
