The announcement featured dinner and an exhibition, marking the first performance conducted as a team. WNBA All-Star and 2004 Olympic Gold Medalist Tamika Catchings, served as the keynote speaker. Musical accompaniment was provided by the world-renowned United States Army's Symphony Orchestra. Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the 2008 U.S. Olympic Synchronized Swimming Team, the IU Herron School of Art and Tamika Catchings' Catch the Stars Foundation.
