Christina Jones teamed up with partner Andrea Nott to represent Team USA in the duet free prelim. The pair placed in fifth place with a score of a 95.667. Russia (99.000), Japan (97.833) and Spain (97.167) took the medal stand positions while China (96.000) grabbed fourth. The duet free final will take place Friday, March 23.
Earlier in the week, Team USA claimed the bronze medal in the free combination routine final. The combo always proves to be a fan-favorite as it incorporates five different routines into one seven-minute program. The event held in Melbourne, Australia, runs through March 24 and features the solo, duet, team and combination events in the elite international competition.
