Team USA Synchronized Swimming Vying for the 4th FINA World Trophy
The top synchronized swimming countries in the world will flock to Montreal, Canada, November 27 - 29 2009 for the 4th FINA World Trophy competition. The event is unique as it is judged solely on artistic merit. The elite international competition will be held at the Olympic Park Sports Centre and is hosted by the Canadian Synchronized Swimming Federation (Synchro Canada).
USA Synchronized Swimming Takes Silver at 07 Brazil FINA Synchro Swim World Cup
The United States Synchronized Swimming Team wrapped up competition today at the 2007 Brazil FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy Cup by claiming the silver medal in the free combination routine. Team USA posted a score of 98.667 while Russia was golden with a mark of 99.000. Spain finished in the third place position with a 97.333.
Team USA Bronze at 2007 FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy Cup in Brazil
The 2007 FINA World Trophy Cup continued today Maria Lenk Aquatic Park featuring the team event. Team USA, which is the reigning Pan Am Champion in the event, performed its mime routine for the final time earning a bronze medal with a mark of 96.000. Spain scored a near perfect 99.666 en route to knocking off top ranked Russia (99.000).
Jones and Nott Take Bronze at 2007 FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy Cup
Christina Jones and Andrea Nott made a splash on the international scene today by grabbing a bronze medal in the second annual FINA World Trophy Cup. The pair posted a score of 96.666 and is moving up after taking home fourth place last year in the inaugural event. Team USA shared the medal stand with Russia (98.334) and Spain (98.000).
Team USA Returns to Rio de Janeiro for 2007 FINA Synchro World Trophy Cup
The US National Synchronized Swimming Team will head to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to appear in the second annual FINA Synchronized Swimming World Trophy Cup held Oct. 12-14 2007. Team USA is no stranger to the Maria Lenk Aquatic Park, which was the site of the 2007 Pan American Games.
