With Six Goals Against Canada, Team Captain Tony Azevedo Helps U.S. Men Secure Five Goal Lead Over Their Northern Competitors
The U.S. Men were favored to win their match-up against Canada today, having won all three of their previous meetings with their Northern competitors at the World Championships. Today's game was no different with the U.S. taking an early lead in the first quarter that left Canada playing catch-up throughout the match. With his performance today, captain Tony Azevedo moves ahead of fellow championship leading goalscorers, Kevin Graham (CAN) and Aleksandar Sapic (SRB).
