The Olympic Swimming pool events at the 2012 Summer Olympics are from 28 July through 4 August in the London Aquatic Center. Olympic open water marathon swimming is on two days, 9 and 10 August in Hyde Park. Unlike the 2008 Beijing Olympic swimming schedule (prelims at night, finals in the morning), the 2012 London Olympics swimming schedule returns to a traditional morning preliminary, evening semi-final and finals format. The Olympic swimming pool will be the center of the swimming action from 28 July through 4 August as swimming kicks off at the 2012 Olympic Games.
