Boudia and Finchum scored 427.68 points to pick up their second bronze of the Series, a three-week event that features the top divers in the world. The top eight divers on individual Olympic events and the top six synchronized teams from the World Championships were invited to participate in the World Series. The Chinese pair of Huo Liang and Lin Yue won their third World Series gold, this time posting 487.80 points. Cubans Erick Fornaris and Jose Guerra were second at 447.12.
Boudia and Finchum also won a bronze in Sheffield, England, during the first leg of the World Series. They were fourth at last week's stop in Mexico City. The World Series concludes Sunday with Nancilea Foster (Spring, Texas) looking to win another medal in the women's 3-meter contest after taking bronze last week in Mexico City. Troy Dumais (Ventura, Calif.) and Mitch Richeson (Greenwood, Ind.) also will dive in Sunday's men's 3-meter synchro event.
