2007 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships to be Webcast Live

USA Swimming and SportNet to Stream Competition Jul 31-Aug 4

From USA Swimming, for About.com

The competition will take place in Indianapolis, but fans around the world can watch live as top U.S. Olympians and hopefuls compete at the 2007 ConocoPhillips USA Swimming National Championships Tuesday, July 31-Saturday, Aug. 4. All five nights of finals will be webcast live at usaswimming.org. Finals begin at 6 p.m. EDT nightly. There is no cost for the webcast.

The event will feature top U.S. swimmers including Olympians and world record-holders Michael Phelps, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Lochte and Kate Ziegler, among others. The event promises an abundance of fast and potentially record-breaking swimming. Last year's National Championships saw two world and two American records fall over five days of competition.

All races will be called live by USA Swimming's broadcast team, led by three-time Olympic gold medalist Rowdy Gaines, the voice of swimming. Fellow Olympic gold medalist Josh Davis will join Gaines on the call.

SportNet is a Wasserman Media Group (WMG) company. The webcast represents the first broadcast resulting from the new partnership between USA Swimming and WMG. For a full schedule of events for the meet, please visit usaswimming.org.
